Renewed Perspective

It's hard to have a good relationship with someone when you only talk issues and problems. It takes all the joy and strength and closeness away. I realized I was doing that with God. With all these issues I had been facing I just kept talking and praying about my problems, but totally missing the relationship side of things. Praising God is so important, and feeling His presence in friendship can do more for any issue or problem than talking about it all the time. There needs to be a balance, and my balance was tipped way to one side. Thank you Jesus that when we praise You and thank You for who You are that our friendship is deepened.
